I was looking up my new Dentist online & besides her name it has DDS, PA. W!


Question:

I was looking up my new Dentist online & besides her name it has DDS, PA. What does the PA stand for?

I think I know what the DDS is. But was curious about the PA part. And it is not Pennsylvania either because that is not where we are located but that is what Google pulled up when I tried to do a search.
