Why would they take blood work for my dogs bleeding gums?!
Question: Her gums were bleeding so we took her in, they did some blood work and I have been waiting all morning for the call on the results.
What could this be, I am sooooo worried.

infection, other disease, and if they have to put her under anesthesia to check her out they know if she's okay or not.
Sometimes bleeding gums could be a sympton of an underlying infection, or other illness.
