Eating after wisdom teeth extraction?!

Question: Well I got my both wisdom teeth tooken out 8 days ago. I can eat fine on my side because the stiches arent there anymore and its almost healed. now the other side doesnt hurt but the stiches are still there so its kinda hard to eat on that side. I am wanting to know when I can start eating spicy food and chewy stickey candy again?

Yeah definitely stick with soft foods for as long as you can bear it. And I'd refrain from eating chew foods for a while because you don't want to get a dry socket- that's supposed to hurt like hell when your nerves are exposed.
But being a Texan, I can sympathize with not being able to eat spicy foods- again, I'd say wait a couple of days just to be safe, then I'd say that you're fine.

Take your time, you dont want to rush it and something to happen.

stick with the mashpotatoes and yogart until you are totally healed.

You shouldn't have any problems at all unless you have some open sores, then it may hurt if you eat anything spicy. By now, you can eat whatever you want.
It depends on your teeth and orthodontist on the price of braces!

If it has been 8 days already since your teeth extractions, then its okay to eat whatever food you want. The one thing to stay cautious about is rinsing the socket daily. I am not sure if the office provided you with a syringe or a device that you use to gently squirt water into the socket to clear it from food debri. The reason is, as the socket is healing, it is closing, and if you don't use the syringe to clean that debri out, the debri can stay locked in the socket as it heals, and cause an infection. So, go for it, eat anything, but don't forget to irrigate (flush) the socket daily until the socket is completely closed (takes about a month). :)
