I just got a cavity filled, i have some questions about it?!

Question: hi, i just got one of like three cavities filled today and it was like two small ones on one tooth and he filled the little tooth right next to my left front tooth, it is kinda sensitive now and when i was drinking water earlier it was pretty sensitive, its not so bad i cant stand it though, will that heal?

also, they had to give me two shots of numbing agent and where he did it its like kinda swolen on the inside and a little sore, is that okay? will it go away

and he gave me this new stuff called mi paste, its for like sensitivity and all, heres the website, www.mi-paste.com
if anybody has used this before could you tell me if it helped with your sensitivity?

It is not unusual for your teeth to be sensitive for a short time after getting new fillings. Also, the site where he gave you the numbing shots can also be sore for a few days.

My husband and I use MI Paste everyday. It helps with sensitivity. Both of us put is on with a toothbrush, but we don't scrub it into the teeth, we just us the toothbrush to rub it around on the teeth. It may take a fews days or weeks for you to notice that you teeth are not as sensitive anymore.
