Strange ball like substance coming from mouth?!

Question:

Strange ball like substance coming from mouth?

i have a really strange problem. for about 3 weeks now, i have been having beige like tiny balls coming from my mouth and they smell real bad. i am a feak when it comes to brushing my teeth. i brush them atleast 6 times a day and have always been like that. this has happened before in the past, but it is happening alot now. i think it is coming from my tounge, but it is hard to tell. like i said, they are beige small balls, soft to touch and it actually smells like poop. it is incredibly emberassing. my doctor said it could be my allergies acting up and my mouth is having to produce more saliva. does that make sense?? does anyone else out there have the same thing?? i wish i knew what this is! it does not hurt or anything and i do not have any cavities and my gums are pink! please help!!

UH, I have this, and hate it....And I thought I was the only one.

A tonsillolith (also called tonsil stone or calculi of the tonsil) is a piece (or more commonly, a cluster) of matter which forms in the rear of the mouth, in the crevasses (called "crypts") of the tonsils.

Tonsil stones, it is theorized, are the result of a combination of any of the following:

food particles
dead white blood cells (a.k.a. "leukocytes")
oral bacteria, possibly from mouth breathing
overactive salivary glands
They are described as having a pungent odor: halitosis concentrated into a small solid object. Visually, they may resemble sesame seeds in color and texture.

Protruding tonsilloliths have the feel of a foreign object. They may be an especially uncomfortable nuisance, but are not often harmful. For some people, however, the they can be quite bothersome, causing a constant foreign-body sensation, a chronic low-grade sore throat, recurrent episodes of tonsillitis persisting beyond childhood, or chronic bad breath.

Treatment consists of either removing the tonsils or removing the stones. Troublesome large stones that are not easily dislodged may need an ear, nose, and throat doctor to remove them.
