How do dissolvable stitches look like?!

How do dissolvable stitches look like?
What color are they? How do they feel? and what is it like when they dissolve? I had my wisdoms removed a couple of days ago and today I freaked out when one of my stitches came loose. I'm kinda worried because I dont know if I have the dissolvable kind or not. The doc's office is closed so I cant ask him.

They are usually biege and feel like string (they are really cat gut, that's why the are dissolvable, not to gross you out!), and they usually dissolve within 5-7 days of placement, although, depending on your oral flora and oral acid content, they may dissolve quicker.
