Does getting your teeth professionally whitened hurt?!
Question: i'm getting my braces off and i want to get my teeth whitened. But ive heard it hurts....if you've had it done please tell me if it really does hurt and for a short or long time. tell me everything you know. thanks

Bleaching only hurts if you break the seal on your gum guards and get the bleach on your gums (which I was unfortunate enough to do... joy). Otherwise no. It's completely painless.
And don't listen to the first poster. That is completely wrong. I got mine whitened in December and they still look great. Most dentists will also fit you for white trays the same day so you can keep up with dental-grade whitening after that.
