I forgot to bring my retainers and now I won't be able to wear them for 5 or 6 days?

I forgot to take my retainers on a road trip and now I won't be able to wear them for about 5 or 6 days!! I have had my braces off for about a year now, so they've been straight for a while. But ... will I be able to get them on my teeth when I get back??!!! I'm scared because I don't know if they'll move really bad or what.

wear your retainers for a week straight when you get back to them. your teeth need at least a month to go crooked again. but dont forget to get them in asap! it might be a little uncomfortable when you put them back in though. just FYI. and next time, try not to forget your retainers!
