Banana taste in mouth?!
Question: ok this might sound strange, but the other day i developed a strange taste of banana in my mouth without even eating any bananas for at least a couple of weeks, and its been here for 3 days. Everything i eat/drink tastes like an awful banana, and water makes this problem worse, i've brushed my teeth frequently (well not previous to the taste, but once i had it). So what exactly is going on, its REALLY starting to bug me, oh and my throat is sore too.

I am currently having the same thing. I have had it before. Your symptoms sound so similar to mine. I have reached the conclusion that it is phlegm that is causing this. Seeing as you have a sore throat also... :)
Try some throat pastels it should clear up the sore throat and the bad taste. For me the taste lasted about 4 days or so and then I noticed that it had gone.
try eating a banana maybe the taste will cancel it out
i had the same thing happen to me with salt
that aweful banana taste might be a cavity. whenever you have any aweful smell coming out of your mouth (especially after you floss, or if there is any bleeding, be concerned). It could be the bacteria in your mouth that is causing that smell.
