Natural teeth whitener?!

Question: I've heard that a used tea bag(green tea) wiped over the teeth a few times a week can whiten teeth. I'm far too lazy to test this out. Does it work? Try it and let Y/A know. It will save me the effort. LMAO

ok i'm right on that

stop being so damn lazy!!!!

I've never heard of green tea doing the trick. (regular tea will actually turn teeth yellow!).

If you do want to whiten naturally, sprinkle a little baking soda on your toothbrush before brushing.

APPLES ARE A NATURAL TEETH WHITNER AS WELL AS SUGAR CANE. AS FAR AS I KNOW TEA STAINS UR TEETH WORSE THAN COFFEE SO I WOULDNT TRY THAT

I think baking soda would work better. Doesn't tea make your teeth yellow? Or is that just black tea?

ok.

Not sure if that works but ok. I know you want a 'Natural" teeth whitener, but my dentist said that "Crest White Strips" are a safe way to make your teeth whiter.

I use crest white strips and they work AMAZING like so perfect I have the whitest teeth now I love it and no the tea thing dosnt work i tried it

haven't heard that one...but you can put baking soda on top of your toothpaste and brush with that...its a natural whitener...and it works good

get those crest white strips 5 minutes. after like 2 weeks they work amazing trust me

Hi, I'm a dentist.

I've never heard of tea doing anything but staining teeth, so I'd seriously doubt this works.

Maybe someone was playing a trick on you when they told you this?

Baking soda is a natural whitener. dip your toothpaste in it after you put it on the toothbrush. don't use it too much though.

I think the only way this would work is if when you wiped the bags across your teeth, you were visibly wiping off plaque. (That is to say, your teeth are covered in yuck.) Otherwise, no. I'm with the baking soda suggestion.

May want to try gentle brushing with baking soda such as Arm and Hammer each night before bed for a week.

milk, water, apples do work also. Green tea bags don't always work, honestly. Its not worth the effort for results that can't be guaranteed.

NO! that will stain your teeth..

nah I already have white teeth I dont want to mess with them :P
