Can anyone tell me what B D S means after a dentists name please?cheers sallie

Thankyou all for replies,i had a feeling the B stood for butcher because my dentist is like one(as rough as one)....cheers again sallie

It stands for Batchelor of Dental Surgery. BChD means the same thing - the 'Ch' is from the latin for surgery
