Question: This is a good question as I have no doubt many who use the product don't know the answer....The answer is the Hydrogen Peroxide is a "antiseptic" and if properly used you can rinse your mouth with it and do not be concerned if you swallow a tiny bit...For the best result brush your teeth before using it and don't afterwords. Tell you what, use the HP after brushing and after spitting out the bulk of it, wait five minutes and rinse your mouth with a 10% salt to water ratio mix... Rinse with the salt water and after doing so, don't finish up with clear water, just use the salt water, spit out the bulk and allow whats left to do it's magic, meaning it heals and sterlizes the inside of your mouth....Of course you should ingnore ths Salt rinse advice if your on a salt free diet.
