I need a filling for a cavity, if I wait a month will it make that big of a diff!
Question: I have a cavity on my molar. It is between another teeth. I also have braces. So in order it fill the cavity, I need to go to the orthrodontist to take the wire out and then go to my dentist.
My dad is going to China in a few days and he said wait till one month when he gets back which is at the end of April. I told him I might get a root canal if I wait to long. Then he said "its not my fault that you have a cavity. You just don't brush well."
Im really worried about my cavity..will a month make a difference? Plus i brush and floss everyday.

not sure but yeah I had a cavity there too. waited about a 2 months and the cavity got to the core of the tooth. when they were drilling the 17 it really hurt even when I was on laughing gas(more like happy gas) and numbed. I still felt the drill on my tooth. but if you have to wait just stay away from sugar drink lots of water and brush and floss like 2- 3 a day.
you could possibly get an infection then you will need a root canal and a cap. it just gets worse and quickly
A month won't make much difference in the cavity..unless it is really really bad now. It may start to hurt if it doesn't already. You would feel a lot better if you went to the dentist now. do you have to do what your dad says...where's your mom.. or your grandma???! ?
i would just get it done fast it hardly hurts and you can get it over with
