Question: its been about 3days ... and everytime i eat something or drink cold water it hurts! is that nomal? or should i go back to get it checked out? thanks to everyone who answers*

Sometimes after you get a tooth filled it can be a little sensitive since it was a new filling. But if its really bothering you I would go back to the dentist. It could be a high spot on the filling and its making the tooth sore. Good luck
i dont think tooth filling can ever hurt, its better for you to get it rechecked!'

A tooth filling can feel "quick" but after 3 days you might have the start of an infection....I would call the dentist in the am & get a re-check.
yes.. i think its normal... if the filling is kinda big or something...
i have a filling that's right on the bottom of my top tooth and its kinda big...
and everytime i drink cold water the same thing happens to me!
the reason is...
the filling (it's silver right?) is made of a metal-ish material...
and metal transfers the cold temperature easily....
and since you have nerve endings in your teeth, it hurts!
