Wisdom teeth POLL?!

Question: 1. How many wisdom teeth did you have pulled at 1 time?
2. What did they give you during the procedure for pain or sedation?
3. Did you have any compliations during the procedure?
4. What pain meds did they give you after it was done?
5. And how long were you in pain after the procedure?

Thanks for any and all answers. Please answer each question if you're going to comment.

Im having my done Tuesday and could use a little reassurance.

Im having my done Tuesday and could use a little reassurance.

1. all four and they were all impacted
2. they wanted to give me gas to ease the pain/fear of the needle but I don't like gas and I'm not afraid of needles so they just shot me up with the anestetic used, knocked me out, I don't remember anything.
3. none, my husband said it only took 30 minutes
4. I don't remember what the meds were, but if it said take every four hours, I took it every four hours to not give myself anytime to start hurting. I never had any problems or any major pain.
5. As long as you take your meds, it's just mild pain. It really wasn't bad at all.

1.) I had one pulled, then two at one time, then the last one. So three times.

2.) Shot in the gum. No sedation, but wait...I did get sedated for another tooth. Both are effective. Oh, but when your awake you can feel the tugging, pulling and pressure but it doesn't hurt. Sedation your groggy and it seems so short.

3.) nope.

4.) vicodin and anti-botics then motrin after. Only used the vicodin right after the novacaine wore off. Motrin is very effective. But it is a blood thinner...so let the sockets clot first before using it.

5.) it didn't really hurt that much. I would say after the first two days you'll be good to go.

P.S. Don't be nervous! If your wisdom teeth have broken through the gum you'll be good. Don't worry.

1. i had 1 pulled at a time
2. umm the dentist only used novacane.
3.. nope only the tooth had to be cut into 3 parts
4. tylenol with codenine
5. umm im still in pain 5 weeks later which isnt normal.
