Had a dental plate fitted,can it be altered?
had a dental plate fitted for the front teeth. I feel like I am choking as the plate is too far back can this be altered? I wish I hadnt had it done

Go back and see your dentist, they will be able to do what we call an Ease on the denture.
This simply requires your dentist to use a straight hand piece to remove some of the Acrylic material from the palate to make it more comfortable for you to wear.
When you do visit the dentist make sure you wear the denture even though it feels uncomfortable, this will enable the dentist to see exactly which part needs to be eased!
And the best part is it's free of charge on the NHS even if you have had made on a private basis!
