Question: My gums are swollen. it aches everytime I chew or close my mouth.

Have you seen a dentist? if not, get to one. Gargle with warm salt water, several times a day. If you donot get regular cleanings, bout every 4 mos. you could develop gum disease, and believe me, you dont want that, it will lead to gum loss. Been there, done that. Luckily I saved my teeth and gums and now get 3 cleanings a year. Good luck.
its called gingivitis
This is most likely a gum infection. You can try gargling hydrogen peroxide, but if that doesn't help, you really need to go to the doctor and get an antibiotic.

is it back by your wisdom teeth? if so its a bacterial infection. i just went to the dentist. and i have one my self. i have to get my wisdom teeth cut and yanked =[
