Do expanders hurt??!
Question: I mean expanders that are used for braces. Cause i have to get them in order to make room for my braces. I don't mean spacers that go in between your teeth I mean like a thing that you tighten every day to widen your teeth so that its more easy to put your braces on and then you get spacers!!

To be honest, they do but only mild pain. You have to turn a key to widen it every day. I had it , wasn't that bad!

yes they do hurt but just take some painkillers and you should be fine :)
i had to do the same thing. I didn't have to tighten them every day, I just had to wear it around school and stuff. They don't hurt, but if you have a wire poking your gum, put some wax on it-your ortho should give you some. It's hard to talk for a while, but you get used to it. Hope this helps!

no it doesnt hurt i have it now and the turns dont even hurt u jus feel pressure. u'll live hope this helped!
