Is it normal to get a cacker sore after having a wisdon tooth revmoved....if you never got them before. It makes me wonder about the tools he uses and how streile they are or does that have nothing to do with this?
Answers:
Canker sores are ulcers on the mucuous membranes. They can be reoccuring, maybe you have had one before, they can be caused by emotional stress (like going to the dentist), fever, and I have seen people get them after a dental procedure due to the stretching of the jaw. They are not contagious so the instruments had nothing to do with it.
