I had a inpacted wisdom tooth pulled now the tooth next to it hurts?

I had a inpacted wisdom tooth pulled out becouse it would aches from time to time so i desided to get rid of it so i get it pulled like 3 days ago but no the tooth next to it hurts when i tap it or bite down on it... why

Dentist did the pulling lol i would never try to pull out my own tooth!

The area around the pulled tooth is going to be sore for awhile. Did the Dentist give you oxycodone for the pain? Your tooth next to the pulled tooth may shift slightly since the impacted tooth was probably pushing up against it.

I would wait a few days to see if the pain goes away, if not, go back to your dentist.
