Can gingivitis and other oral bacteria cause stomach aches?!

Question: It has been my experience (more than 30 years) it is the other way around. Stomach problems i.e. acid reflux, ulcers, digestive problems, often cause irritation of the gum tissue. Stress is a big cause and the acids produced from it ,all affect the digestive tract, which begins in the mouth. The mouth starts it with enzymes that break down food, so your enzyme levels could be off. A gastroenterologist could help, that's one of there specialties. High levels of stress also cause a specific gingivitis that is quite painful and sores are visible to see, but it is curable with treatment. Hope this helps.

now that you mention it, i too have been having recent stomache aches due to not brushing my teeth - causing gingivitus etc - since i have had my tooth chipped by walking into a door - ouch. i suggest you go to a dentist and ask them, their opinion and expertise would truly answer your question.
g'luck
