I have an abscess on one of my teeth. It is extremely painful and my Dentist suggested doing a root canal/?

In your opinion, is the the correct way to go or does it have to be pulled? Will Antibiotics help?

Answers:

Anti Biotic will help reduce the infection and are unsually given before doing the root canal. It is much better to go down the root canal route than have you tooth pulled. Once the root canal has been done you should have no more problems.
