Wisdom tooth removal--should I still feel tired after 4 days?!

Question: I thought I would have recovered more by now...

Answers: I thought I would have recovered more by now...

It took me a week to get my energy back. Part of it was due to the pain meds and part was due to my body healing. I took 4 days off of work for it and just chilled, but I was still dragging the first few days back at work.

I was really dizzy the first few days back at work too. I almost passed out a few time but kept going.

One thing that did help me was to start taking a vitamin and really monitoring my sugar levels. I was really weak from low blood sugar, and once I added some juice into my diet I started to feel better and not so dizzy. My blood sugar was dangerously slow. Really thing about what you are eating and drinking. Make sure you are taking in a balanced diet. I was just eating too bland of a diet.

Everyone is different. My sister was like that for 2 whole weeks.

well you might still have medicine in your system and from not doing anything for a few days wil make you feel week just slowly start to get back into everything

Are you still taking pain meds? If so, they are what is doing this to you... I was fine after the first day so I'm not sure why you're still tired and dizzy... Definately call the dentist Monday!
