rub some cloves over the tooth ache, it will numb the pain. Dentists use it all the time.

For optimum use, heat up the clove to be hot before rubing it in to your tooth and the surrounding area.

do you have any clove oil? also a hot or cold press on your tooth might relieve it a bit? if you google toothache remedies then you will find some things. have you taken pills - nurofen/paracetamol?

Stamp on your toe. You'll soon forget about your tooth

Grind a clove and put it on ur tooth and leave it there, avoid swallowing it so you let it work. Hope u get better but see a dentist ASAP. ;)

if you have it in the kitchen...u can try chewing on a clove.... the spice, it helps with the pain... but it its very strong.
or it u have clove oil put a few drops on a ball of cotton wool and massage on the problem tooth.

Get a cold pack and wrap it in a small towel and then put against the part that hurts. This is what I was told at a hospital. Works every time.

You can try sucking on an ice cube or holding some cold water in your mouth. Both work pretty well but the effects are temporary so you will have to keep doing it until you can get to a dentist.

Take some paracetemol and try to sleep is best.

An ice pack or gently rubbing your cheek will distract your brain a bit. Your brain can only process so many sensations at once.

Cloves are more of a long term remedy I wouldn't bother with them. A good swill with mouthwash would probably be better for you.

This is a remedy that my grandparents taught me that worked back in their days and I tried it and it works, my husband knows of it from his mom and he always keeps a bottle of it just for that reason. Rub whisky ( Jack Daniels, store brand etc...) just a few dabs on the tooth, around the tooth, and especially on the gum area where the tooth aches at.. It works for baby teething too. You rub a little on it's gums when teething, it won't harm them. It numbs it. Repeat whenever it starts to hurt. Or keep doing it till you can get to the dentist. it's up to you! give a try! :) I hope you feel better. Good Luck! Bye! :):):)

poor you..toothache can be a night mare.

ok, if you have some clove oil..brilliant..dab onto the tooth and gum, or anusol, which you can buy from any boots chemist.

If your in the UK. Boots chemist are open today...you can buy both from their.

Good luck

Most regions (uk) have emergency dentists to cover holidays. Call nhs helpline. Other answers advice to get clove oil is good short term relief.
