just had a deep scailling done and i was shot up with bout 12 shots of novacaine, now on 1 side it looks like a canka, but it looks like puss what do i do?

Good for you that you had the treatment completed. You prob. don't have an abscess but a sore place where they gave you the injection or where they might have nicked you with the instruments that they used. Don't worry too much about it. Warm salt water is a great remedy. Rinse with it several times a day. Make sure that you do your brushing and flossing everyday, and follow the post-op instructions of your dentist/hygienist. If it does not resolve in about a week than see your dentist again to get it checked out. BTW: pus is spelled with one s. What you wrote was like a puss y cat.
