A tiny bit of over lapping....?!

Question:

A tiny bit of over lapping....?

when I was lost my 2 front baby teeth I noticed I had a piece of skin between so when I grew in my adult teeth, my 2 front teeth had a gap, so I when I was 8 or 9 I got it taken off with a laser

now I am 13 and my 2 front teeth have been together for years (no gap) but now I am noticing that they are kinda overlapping. Well, more like one is in back and one is in front. I think my other teeth are prtty straight, maybe one a little to the front. Do you think I will need a retainer or maybe even braces??

Also, if I did get braces, those little square things, would they just be on my 2 front teeth and the rest just have like, a wire?

ok, thanks for the help!!

Answers:

You don't have to get braces. My front two teeth were overlapping too, and we weren't going to get braces. We finally did, only because it might help my jaw (long story)

If you did get braces, you would have to have brackets (or what you call "little square things") on every tooth. If you move one or two teeth, you're going to have to move the rest. My other top teeth were straight, except for the those two front teeth, and I had to get a bracket on every tooth, like everyone else.
