What causes nerve pain in teeth?!


Question: hi i have major tooth pain that sent me to the hospital last night the whole right side of my face hurts really bad the doctor told me that it is a nerve will it go away on its own?? i am 8 months pregnant so i really can't take much so does anyone know of any home remedies or if it will go away on its own and what causes it to all the sudden happen??? thank you

you might have extremely sensitive teeth
might be b/c something you ate, like ice cream or something too cold or to hot will cause nerve pain
try stay away from those extreme temperature food =)

sometimes it goes away
but usualy they come back
so after giving birth you might want to consider do a root canal, that will take care of the nerves =)

Generally, nerve pain is produced when you have a really bad cavity that has been ignored. The result ends up being exposure of the nerve. Go to the Dentist and ask for a temporary filling..or you can get a temporary filling kit from Walgreens.
