Orthodontist question?!
Question: ok so i had braces a year ago.so i had this thing in the roof of my mouth called an expander.so it gradually cut my tounge but not like a little i can acctually lift it up with my finger and see under it but it doesnt bleed or hurt at all and then i got my braces out and got a retainer in so the thing on my tounge wont heal. i cant get the retainer taken out because i dont have the money right now (braces and all were 7,000 $) any help to get rid of it or help it heal?

I would talk to my orthodontist. Even if your braces are off, you can go back for any problems you have. Go back to your orthodontist and tell him about it and let him tell you what you need to do.
