Wisdom teeth surgery (5 teeth at one go) - Is it safe?!

Question:

Wisdom teeth surgery (5 teeth at one go) - Is it safe?

I've a dental surgery scheduled this Friday afternoon. The surgery will involve extraction of 4 nos. Wisdom teeth (2 each on both left & right) and 1 no. Hidden tooth in my gums.
The hospital dentist suggested to remove all 5 of them at one go. I will be aslp throughout the whole process.
My friends think that removing 5 nos. at one go is too dangerous and possibility of getting infection maybe higher.
Is it safe to remove 5 teeth at one go? What other complications would it have, other than wisdom teeth maybe near the nerves? Should I get a 2nd opinion prior to the surgery?

Answers:

i got mine done 3 in one trip and two a month later if it is on different sides it might not be safe I would ask to have 2 separate appointments
