Is yellowish of my teeth an intrinsic feature of it or I can remove that?!
Question:
Is yellowish of my teeth an intrinsic feature of it or I can remove that?
Hi. I am a 24 years-old man. I think my teeth are a little yellow. when I told the problem to some of my friends, they answered that it is because of my teeth nature ( my teeth are naturaly yellow) and couldn't be cured. Is that right? Then, how really can I whiten my teeth? It is very important to me.
Answers:
HELLO,
THE TEETH ARE COMPOSED OF MAINLY TWO SUBSTANCES. THE OUTER ENAMEL IS WHITE, AND THE INNER DENTIN IS YELLOW IN COLOR.
WHERE THE ENAMEL IS THINNER AS IN THE UPPER/LOWER CANINES, THE YELLOWISH PART CAN READILY BE SEEN NEAR THE GUMS.
WHEN THE WHOLE TOOTH HAS A YELLOWISH TINT, THE ENTIRE SURFACE IS OFTEN COVERED BY STAINS.
WHITENING BY SEVERAL COMMERCIAL PRODUCTS, LIKE CREST WHITE STRIPS HAS GIVEN GOOD RESULTS.
THE BEST THING TO DO IS VISIT A DENTIST TO SEE WHAT OPTIONS YOU HAVE.
