Will the holes in my mouth heal?!!?!
Question: I got my wisdom teeth pulled almost one month ago. i still have the holes. how long till they heal? they arent getting ANY smaller and when i eat, i get food stuck in them. how long will it take for them to heal all up? or will they just stay this way forever? they are deep holes, so how can they actaully heal without sutures?

Yes they will heal with time. Make sure you follow your dentist's advice and also avoid smoking during this time (this will help prevent dry sockets).
Yea.. they will heal. They will fill with bone and cover up with gum. It takes about 5 months to a year to fully fill. When you get food stuck in them, just rinse them out with the syringe. If you can't get all the food particles out, you aren't doing it correctly. You got to really get in the hole with it, but not too deep or it will hurt.
