Jaw area hurts after having two novicain shots?
I went thursday and got my one cavity temp filled however, since the cavity was so deep. He had gave me two shots. I feel still that someone punched me on my jaw. Is this normal?

Yes, it is totally normal. In fact most of the pain originates from the actual injection site, then once the novacan is pumped ito the gums it makes a large amount of discomfort, puting preassure on nerves. Once the novacan is absorbed the next day is when you begin to feel the ache, it usually gets worse on the second day after and maybe even the third day after depending on how much the dentist moved around the needle when inside.
Also the fact that you are worried about it probably heightens the pain. My recomendation is to take 2 painkillers and a tub of ice cream and give it a couple of days.
