Cold sore (or the ones inside your mouth on your cheek)?!

Question:

Cold sore (or the ones inside your mouth on your cheek)?

What are them sores that get inside your mouth on the cheek that burn if salt or somethings touch them? how do you get rid of them? I do brush my teeth 2 times a day and use listerine.

Answers:

They are canker sores. They can be very painful, and make you not even want to eat. For temporay relief, like before a meal, try this:

Mix 1/2 teaspoon of liquid Mylanta with 1/2 teaspoon of liquid Benadryl. Dab that mixture onto the sore with a Q-tip. It will numb the area, and relieve your pain for a while.

For a more permanent cure, add a good quality B- 50 Complex Vitamin to your day. Swallow one with food each day. Also consider adding acidophilus to your diet. You can take this in pill form, or eat a yogurt each day to get acidophilus naturally.

I had bad canker sores every six weeks until I added the B-50. A good source of good quality B-50 Complex vitamins are at www.puritan.com. They are an inexpensive price there too.

Hope things get better for you!
