You didn't see the movie stars who smoked cigarettes with tar stained smiles. Did they use baking soda?

I doubt they whitened their teeth 50 years ago....many people wore dentures...or yes used baking soda...or perhaps they had crowns....crowns have been around a very long time...
I am not an advocate of bleaching...There have been no long term studies as of yet...If you know what bleaching does to your teeth, I cannot see it being a good thing...not to mention it costs a fortune and it is not permanant...A wedding or a prom? thats okay...but over and over again cannot be good...The home kits in my opinion are the best bet...They are inexpensive and get the same result...They are not as strong and will take longer to get the same effect...but work just as well with patience....oh...and another thing...you know those lights the dentist uses when bleaching that they charge a bundle for and claim it makes teeth whiter? not true...all it does is speed up the process...but not needed...you will get the same result with time....Hope this helps!
