Question:
Extra bone growth under my tongue, what is it called and it is bad?
The bone growth has affected my speech, biting my tongue and inside my cheeks. Is this normal?
Answers:
Mandibular torii are bilateral in nature. Meaning that you will have them on both sides of your jaw. You will never (ever) have bilateral malignant (cancer) lessions in your mouth. If its only on one side, see a dentist asap and have an evaluation. If they are bilateral they are torii. They can be easily removed by an oral surgeon.
