Tell me 'bout BRACES??? ~~read please~~?

ok tell me ALL these questions below!

1. what are braces like

2. do they hurt?

3. what colors should i get?

4. do i have to take med. before or after the 1st appointment?

5.do i have 2 get prepared?

6. and should i be exited or sad..(11 years old) (and i have like a gap, with most of my teeth crooked a lil. bit)

1. what are braces like
they feel weird at first but you seriously get used to them really fast.

2. do they hurt?
the first 3 days or so, and after you get the rubberbands changed every month your gums may feel a little sore, but not nearly as bad as when you first get them on.

3. what colors should i get?
whatever you want..you can get them changed every month.

4. do i have to take med. before or after the 1st appointment?
take some ibuprofen if you're sore.

5.do i have 2 get prepared?
i'm not sure what you mean by this...

you're young, a lot of 11 year olds have braces. i don' t think it's a big deal.
