Retainers braces help?!
Question: Hi, i just had my braces out like 1 half month ago, I have the plastic see threw retainer thing I wear at night, however I have been wearing that but now think its a bit loose? is that normal?
also i had braces to for my over jet , so NOT wearing retainers can push the teeth back out right ?
Also i have air bubbles ( if you know what i mean) in the brace does that effect the braces? my ortho said no but am not too sure. just hope my teeth dont go back to how they were before i had braces.

it's good that you are wearing your retainers, remember to wear them at night for the rest of your life, or at least until you don't care what they look like anymore. the reason why they are loose is because you are wearing them properly and they may need to be adjusted. call and make an appointment with your orthodontist. if you stop wearing them, they will shift. it is natural for your teeth to shift over the years, this is why you want to wear them to retain the shape they are now. air bubbles aren't a problem. they don't have enough force to make a difference, if that makes sense.
