I just got elastic bands for my traintracks ?!

I just got elastic bands for my traintracks (which attaches from top to bottom jaw) and i was just wondering how long will it be before i get my traintracks tooken off, my next appointment is in 6 weeks will i get them off then (in 6 weeks) ?

it depends on two factors:
1) how bad your over or under bite is, you may need to wear them for a few months.
2) if you wear them 24/7 (except for brushing your teeth) and replace them everyday. if you don't, the orthodontist can tell and there won't be any change.
just keep wearing them and cross your fingers!
