Where are wisdom teeth found and do you have to pull them?!

Question: Wisdom teeth are your third molars. They will come in behind your two large teeth at the back in each quadrant of your mouth. They are kind of mother nature's back up plan. Should you lose a molar tooth, the wisdom tooth comes in usually between ages 17 - 21 and provides you with a replacement chewing surface. But with today's oral health, few people are missing molars by age 20 so they are often redundant.

Whether or not they need to be removed is determined by several factors. In general, if you are under 25 and have all your other teeth then it is likely your dentist will recommend removing them. If you are over 25 and they are in a healthy position (meaning not impacted in the jaw), your dentist may recommend leaving them be.

Also, it is not uncommon for wisdom teeth to be congenitally missing. Which means they never developed.

You need to consult a dentist, have a panaramic x-ray taken, and discuss what is the best course of action for you in particular.

On the back of your mouth and they need to be pulled out only when there is no space to come out.

wisdom teeth are at the very back of the mouth and might not have even come out of your gums yet. (if they ever do). the only time you need to get wisdom teeth out is if you have them in the first place ( some people don't!). If our teeth go inwards towards your other teeth it will cause cramping and even infections. great pain and then you will have to get them out anyway. your wisdom's could go the other way and you need to get em out that time too. they could come out perfect by themselves and you wont need em pulled.
go to the dentist and get an x-ray if you want to know. i did and i had to get mine out for one of those reasons and that i was getting braces. gl.

the wisdom teeth grow when your are 10+ years old (sometimes when you are 40+) They grow in de backside of your mouth. Most people dont have place in their mouth for these teeth. The jaw is already full of teeth. So when they grow they grow in wrong directions. In that occasion you need dental help. But if room is available and nothing is wrong, no help is needed.

Wisdom teeth are the last teeth that erupt, and do so usually around the age of 17-18 or later. They are the very last teeth in the jaw, i.e., at the back of your mouth. Most people don't need to have them pulled but some do. The need to pull them can be the mouth is too crowded, they are decayed, or they are growing in incorrectly.
