What is the current rate to pay the Tooth Fairy ?!
Question: Depends on the tooth...is it a baby tooth w/no cavities (top dollar!), or is it yucky (not worth as much). It also depends on if the tooth fairy needed an assist (oral surgeon)...they generally get more. It really depends on what the parents decide. I hear of $1 to $5 a tooth. Back in my day a dollar was the most.

I usually give my kids $5 except in the case of the magic tooth. Magic tooth you ask? Yes. My daughter lost a tooth and before she could put it under her pillow, the dog ate it. A couple of days later my son came into the house and I smelled dog poop. I looked on the bottom of his shoe and you guessed it. Dog poop and the tooth. What are the chances? That tooth was worth $10.
