Tooth abscess?

hi, im 12 and today i had my 1st visit to the dentist i was sooo scared i cryed.They told me i had an abscess and told me i have to have tooth pulled out, I fainted and then minutes later i woke up.They then told me again and i just cryed.They gave me antibiotics and said come in next week, But b4 i left they gave me sample of the numbing cream on my tongue (it tasted manky).I then left and when i got home i cryed for about 3 hours and i dont think i can go back to he dentist.I think it myt hurt and im **** scared of needles.Please help me, tell me exactly how much it will hurt please, or i will probebly not go!*the tooth is cracked with a hole in and is the second tooth from the back on the bottom row* HELP HELP AND ANSWER ASAP!

one of my kids was scared like you in fact she went in the end and realised she had blown it out of proportion.the tooth ache you will get from that bad tooth is much worse than any pain you will get from a tooth being took out cos they numb your gum with a needle then you feel nothing else there for about 4 hours .your mum can give you paracetamol if it still hurts but it wont.
