Oral surgeons/plastic surgeons only please...chicken or egg question?!
Question:
Oral surgeons/plastic surgeons only please...chicken or egg question?
I want to have my teeth worked on, they are very slightly crooked, I'm looking at doing invisilign on the top only. I also want to have a chin augmentation - not the sliding g, but the implant. I know the implant won't affect my bite, but is it better to have the surgery or the braces first from a cosmetic perspective? Or does it not matter?
Answers:
I'd say it probably doesn't matter, but I have not seen you. It might be better to get your teeth straightened first, since they _might_ be affecting the shape of your lips and you'd want your new chin to match the real shape of your lips when you are done.
