I had my wisdom tooth removed two days ego, and by the second day I have really bad breath.?

I looked at the extractions site in my mouth, and it seems to be closed, and I'm now 99% pain free. So I don't think its dry socket but, my breath is worse then usual. Is this just a side effect of the extraction of an infected tooth?

It's a side affect- it happens to almost everyone! If you had dry socket, you would already be back at the dentist/surgeon because of severe pain. The bad breath probably comes from "old" blood that is left over.
