Exercise after tooth extraction?!

Question: Hi, I got my 4th tooth from the front pulled yesterday at 1:30pm. I usually go to the gym every morning, however is it okay for me to go this morning or should I wait a day? The dentist did not give me any instructions regarding this. Ty!

Unless you have an on going blood pressure problem, exercising shouldn't be a problem with the extraction site. However, exercising usually creates a need for increased swallowing for some people as the exercise cause them to develop dry mouth and they often attempt to create oral moisture with a sucking motion and that could dislodge the blood clot. Give it another 24 hours and then limit your exercise program to exercises with less intensity for a couple more day's. Good luck and I wish you well.

As your teeth are in your head, all of your brains may be excreated from the hole left by your tooth if you are under too much physical exertion. You may want to wait until the new tooth grows in, if it was a baby tooth, or until the hole heals.

Nah, just kidding. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

I'd say go for it. If you are working out too hard and the clot breaks, then you know you over did it. But I think you will be fine!
