Why does your tooth/teeth continue to bleed after it is removed?!

Question:

Why does your tooth/teeth continue to bleed after it is removed?

I just had two teeth removed and it will not stop bleeding.......it continues to bleed and i dont know why.

Answers:

How bad is it bleeding? and how long ago did you have them pulled? If you think that the bleeding is too much absolutely be sure to call the office or go back tomorrow to make sure everything is okay. It really should have clotted after 30-45 minutes after you had them pulled.
In fact, Im going to say if its been longer then that and they really are bleeding that much, like you are still having to switch out gauze or cotton rolls, go to the emergency room tonight....hopefully a dentist will read this and say whether or not he agrees with my suggestion, but if not, def. take a trip to the er just to be sure.
