How many three-month visits should be made after deep scale cleaning?

I visited my hygienist in February after three months and May 5 was the three-month mark.

This really depends on how long it takes to get your mouth healthy and stable (read 3mm pockets or less and no bleeding.) Most people need to be on 3 month perio maintenance cleanings indefinitely. Freakishly excellent home care is required to overcome periodontal disease. Can you tell I'm a dental hygienist?
