Does getting your teeth whitened hurt?!

Question: just give me the truth!

Answers: just give me the truth!

ok i dont know, but i used "crest white strips" and since then, my teeth are REALLY sensible, like REALLY....i drink anything cold or hot and they hurt, and i went to the dentist and she told me my teeth were cracked [AAAHH weird i know] and she showed me through a microscope thing and they were but can't even tell unless you use that microscope...and now every now and then they hurt....but my dad is a dentist so he tells me what to do =]....not trying to scare you but you should ask your dentist first

at the dentist...no it's just a lazer

with white strips? If you have sensitive teeth, then yes. I used them and have sensitive teeth, and it felt like I had a tooth ache, on all my teeth while the strips were on.

Like hell!!!

Where I come from it is considered a terrible torture!!!

OF COURSE NOT! It's completely painless and if your scared take some anesthetic pills before you do it.

well interestingly enough, My aunt said it was horrible. She had it done with a laser, the more expensive way though.
Then no matter how you do it, there is sensitivity on your teeth, and it can be pretty bad.

No, it doesn't hurt. Regardless of whether a dentist uses a laser to whiten them or you use bleaching trays there is little to no pain. If you use the bleaching trays your teeth might tingle slightly, but you shouldn't have any pain. That is the truth.

Nope. The professionals now mostly use light therapy to whiten the teeth. Totally painless.

no, but it can leave your teeth quite sensitive..xo

no! you can just rub strawberries on them! ( or at least thats what i heard!)
