I went to get my teeth clean Like 2 days ago and they told me I had a cavity. I'm getting it filled on the 10th.

They only reason they would need to pull the tooth is if there is gross decay. If it's just a cavity it can be repaired with a filling worse case - a root canal and crown (cap). Most dentist would prefer to save a tooth before pulling it.
i hav two pretty bad cavities...
a cavity is a hole in your tooth where nerve is exposed, this might be why you may be getting toothache's, or sensitive reactions with hot or cold water/food etc. They say they might have to pull it out cause it may be too big to have a filling, or there may be nothing for the filling to adhere to.
Yeah .. i have two cavities as well, im getting them filled in a couple days .. i hate it haha!
i've never had one but i have had teeth pullen out. it hurts! i've had out 6 teeths pulled out. 2 were baby teeth then they took out the grown up one of those and then took out 2 teeth that were already grown up. atleast for you it's only one. good luck!
