Has anyone ever had invisalign braces? Tell me your thoughs about them?!

Question:

Has anyone ever had invisalign braces? Tell me your thoughs about them?

My teeth are just a little crooked & one of my front teeth stick out a little more... would invisalign help me?

Answers:

I cant see your teeth but i think you would make a great candidate for invisalign. Its pretty easy and painless, far easier then traditional braces, which ive had and know from experience is not fun.
You basically go into an office who offers invisalign, they will take an impression of your top teeth, an impression of the bottom teeth, and a bite registration. They will also take photos of the teeth.
They can show you with the computer what your teeth look like now and what they will look like at the end of treatment. From what Ive seen, most people wear em for maybe a year, sometimes less.
When your first set is ready you come into the office, we try them in the patient to make sure they are fitting okay, then we have to add buttons to your teeth. the buttons are small dots of composite, which arent generally noticiable, but they create tension to help the invisaligners move your teeth.
When you get them you wear your first set for 2 weeks, take them out and put them in the red case we give you and put your second set in. should something happen to the second set you would use the first set as a backup and call the office immediatley to let them know something happened to your current set.
you would come back every 4 weeks to get 2 new sets, each set you wear for 2 weeks. you take them out to eat, drink, brush or floss. you can only drink water with them in otherwise you risk decay of your teeth.
make sure to clean the liners when you brush your teeth, morning and night and any other time you think they need it, you dont need to use toothpaste, dont soak it in anything, for example listerine can stain it and denture cleaner can eat away at them. you just rinse them in cold water, not hot cause they could melt since they are plastic.

Ive seen some pretty incredible things with invisalign and I really do recommend them to anyone who needs a little straightening.
at our office they cost about $4000.00 although I dont know how much would be covered by insurance, and you may be able to find a dentist who can put you on a payment plan.
