Mouth abscess?!

Question: i had a abscess on my gum up the top towards the back, i popped the abscess for the meds didn't get rid of it and it was annoying. The tooth is not sore at all but now were the abscess bubble was the skin lump that was left is peeling off and just half attached and half not. Has anyone experienced this? I have a dental appointment tomorrow do you think that they would cut it off for me it is really annoying.

You may not have had an abscessed tooth. In the area you described is a salivary duct which could have been obstructed or infected. Your Dentist will be able to diagnose and treat the problem.
